Job Description
Coordinates the loan documentation process by working with bankers and other parties, including, but not limited to, title companies, Retechs, legal counsel, Lending Services staff and Underwriting staff to ensure loan conditions have been satisfied and loan documents are prepared in accordance with organizational policies and procedures, loan terms and conditions, and in an accurate and timely manner. Reviews title commitments, accurately identifies exceptions and applies appropriate action to resolve and remove or minimize risk associated with real property. Accurately prepares title instruction letters with full instructions including to Title Company.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Typically eight or more years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
- Advanced knowledge of legal documents used to support applicable loan processing
- Ability to work with legal staff to solve complex documentation needs
- Ability to apply critical thinking for all elements of loan documentation construction
- Ability to master the bank’s documentation - both internal and external attorney prepared (AFS & nCino)
- Comprehensive knowledge of closing policies and procedures, funding policies, underwriting requirements, governmental and agency requirements, terminology and automated processing systems
- Comprehensive knowledge of applicable credit policies and approval processes for assigned product(s)
- Ability to work effectively and accurately in a fast paced, high production, professional environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Suite - including Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.
- Experience with Title Insurance
- Experience with attorney prepared documents

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $29.23 - $38.94 - $42.83
