Summary
Neuberger Berman Trust Company N.A. and Neuberger Berman Trust Company of Delaware N.A. (collectively referred to as the “Trust Companies”) are seeking a skilled and experienced Trust Investment Oversight Officer to join our team. The Trust Companies support the Private Wealth Management, Institutional, and Intermediary businesses of the firm, managing a diverse range of accounts, including Personal Trusts, Collective Investment Trusts (CITs), and Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) clients, such as endowments, foundations, and pension funds.
The Trust Companies administer $13.1 billion in assets, generating $56 million in annual revenue. This role will report dually to Sam Petrucci, Head of Advice, Planning & Fiduciary Services, and Shannon Saccocia, Chief Investment Officer – Wealth.
The Trust Investment Oversight Officer will serve as the primary liaison between the Trust Companies and the investment managers responsible for overseeing client portfolios. This pivotal role ensures compliance with legal and regulatory standards, monitors investment performance, and evaluates portfolio construction on behalf of Trust Officers.
Responsibilities
The Trust Investment Oversight Officer will manage the oversight of investments held within relationships serviced by the Trust Companies. Key responsibilities include:
+ Drafting, documenting, and ensuring adherence to Investment Policy Statements (IPSs) for all Trust Company accounts
+ Acting as the liaison to investment managers, including representatives from Neuberger Berman Investment Advisers (NBIA), to share updated IPSs, coordinate rebalancing requests, and communicate relevant changes to asset management strategies
+ Ensuring timely valuation updates and thorough reviews of public and private assets, particularly those that are difficult to value, held within Trust Company accounts
+ Working closely with investment teams to periodically review securities excluded from approved lists, securities presenting potential conflicts of interest, and asset concentrations
+ Overseeing and documenting the annual investment review process on behalf of Trust Officers and preparing detailed documentation for Trust Company board meetings
+ Partnering with internal stakeholders to assess and improve processes in accordance with Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) guidelines
Qualifications
+ 6-9 years of relevant trust-related experience
+ Strong investment expertise, including proficiency in asset allocation, asset location, and portfolio construction
+ A solid understanding of trust and estate planning is highly desirable
+ Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
+ A collaborative team player dedicated to continuous improvement.

Compensation Details
The salary range for this role is $125,000-$175,000. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. This range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in the job posting location. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, business sector, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, market benchmarking data, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs. This job is also eligible for a discretionary bonus, which, along with base salary and retirement contributions, is part of our total comprehensive package. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401(k), life insurance and other benefits to eligible employees.
