    + Ligand binding assays on various platforms including SPR technology and ELISA.

    + Troubleshooting ligand binding assays

    + Independent troubleshooting of routine and non-routine assay workflow

    + Learn new methodologies and instruments when required based on the project needs

    + Perform high-throughput sample testing in an organized and timely manner

    + Maintain up to date inventory of the critical reagents and the study samples

    + Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to prosecute studies and projects in line with the strategic direction of the team

    + Present research results in team meetings

    + Multitask and work in an efficient way to support multiple projects

    + Maintain electronic laboratory notebooks, prepare precise technical report summaries, analysis and maintain appropriate documentation

    + Bachelor’s/ Master’s degree in Biochemistry and/or Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, Chemical Engineering or related field is required with 1-3 years of relevant experience.

    + Experience with ELISA is required

    + Hands-on experience with ligand binding assays

    + Experience with ligand binding assays on various platforms including SPR technology (preferred)

    + Ability to design, run and interpret ligand binding assays

    + Experience with liquid handling instruments is a plus.

    + Excellent verbal/written communication, organizational and interpersonal skills

    + Self-starter, able to prioritize work and work efficiently with minimal supervision

    + Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship

    + Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Kalamazoo, MI are encouraged to apply.

    + Position is first-shift, full time, Monday-Friday with overtime as needed.
