    IDS International is seeking a part-time, temporary Security Specialist to join our industrial security team.

    Responsibilities:

    + Support the company’s compliance with the NISPOM and any other government, agency-specific, or company security policies and procedures

    + Ensure candidates and employees meet the security requirements of the client

    + Prepare and submit complete and accurate security packages, following up with subject and client security offices as appropriate

    + Maintain complete and accurate records

    + Assist the Facility Security Officer as directed

    Required qualifications:

    + Active Top Secret security clearance

    + Associates degree or combination of education and experience

    + 3+ years of experience in personnel security processing with an intelligence agency

    + Knowledge of government databases, including DISS and Scattered Castles

    + Strong verbal and written communication skills

    Desired qualifications:

    + Professional security certification

     

    Employee may be required to occasionally lift and/or move moderate amounts of weight, typically less than 20 pounds, but may vary depending on the position. Regular and predictable attendance is essential.
