Job Overview
Interpret technical blueprints and understand the specifications and requirements to create precise CNC programs.
• Select proper tooling to optimize machining process.
• Design and program CNC machine tools using CAD/CAM software to produce components efficiently.
• Support CNC machine operators with proving out programs.
• Modify existing programs to enhance efficiency or adapt to new production requirements.
• Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and conduct minor repairs to ensure continuous operation.
• Maintain documentation and records of CNC programs and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Key Job Responsibilities
The CNC Programmer is responsible for creating and optimizing CNC programs to produce precise and efficient machined parts. This role involves interpreting technical blueprints, programming CNC machines, and ensuring the quality of produced components. The CNC Programmer plays a critical role in enhancing manufacturing processes and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.
Qualifications/Requirements
2-year Technical Degree in Engineering Technology or a related field of study, or a combination of education and experience.
• 5-10 years' experience in related industry.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprint drawings.
• Knowledge of machining, fixturing and tooling.
• Knowledge of programming for mills and lathes.
• Expertise in programming utilizing CAM software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Hiring Range
At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $NA. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
