Our client, a global leader in data infrastructure and IT services, is seeking a Data Center Technician to join their team. As a Data Center Technician, you will be part of the Field IT Operations department supporting Data Center Operations and Inventory Management. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Data Center Technician
**Location:** San Antonio, TX
**Pay Range:** $20-25/hr
What’s the Job?
+ Monitor systems for equipment failures and respond to error messages
+ Coordinate and execute incoming/outgoing deliveries and inventory tracking
+ Perform data center inventory audits and regulatory compliance activities
+ Support destruction of data-bearing devices following strict procedures
+ Assist in testing and debugging new programs with technical teams
What’s Needed?
+ High School Diploma and 2+ years of experience in IT warehouse, inventory, or data center operations
+ Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
+ Previous experience working in a data center environment
+ Strong communication and time management skills
+ Ability to work independently and follow detailed procedures
