Our client, in the food and nutrition industry, is seeking a Machine Operator/Sanitation Technician (Food Sanitation) to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be part of the Food & Beverage department supporting its quality and sanitary standards of the company and the FDA. The ideal candidate will have 6 mo. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility, mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems and ability to maintain a good attendance record and availability for overtime which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machine Operator/Sanitation Technician

Pay Range: $21 an hour.

Multiple shifts consisting of 12 hour a day schedules.

What’s the Job?

+ Maintain control and documentation of sanitation chemicals and equipment.

+ Able to calculate and record % concentration of chemicals and be able to perform titration tests.

+ General support of plant production and quality assigned by plant leadership.

+ Identify critical steps and other instructions critical to effective implementation and maintenance of the Food Safety Plan.

+ Clean-up on a large scale prior to audits and inspections.

What’s Needed?

+ High School graduate or equivalent required, eighteen (18) years or older.

+ 6 mo. Manufacturing experience, preferably in a chemical or food processing facility.

+ 3 mo. Prior electric pallet jack operation and safety certification preferred.

+ Must be self-motivated and conscientious.

+ Mechanical aptitude and analytical skills to solve mechanical problems.
