Our client, a leader in the facilities management industry, is seeking a Facilities Engineer or Technician to join their team. As a Facilities Engineer or Technician, you will be part of the engineering department supporting critical facility operations. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Facilities Engineer or Technician

**Location:** On-site – Sandy, UT

What's the Job?

+ Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance operations of building systems including mechanical and electrical systems.

+ Diagnose and maintain critical equipment such as UPS systems, generators, and air conditioning units.

+ Record operational readings and escalate findings to ensure proper equipment functioning.

+ Collaborate with team members to communicate and report on system operations effectively.

+ Oversee contractor activities and ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols.

What's Needed?

+ High School diploma or GED equivalent.

+ Hands-on experience in a critical facility, including UPS systems and emergency generators.

+ Experience in trades such as Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial, or Controls.

+ Strong working knowledge of computer applications including Word and Excel.

+ Proven record of excellent internal and external customer service.
