Job Description:

This job is responsible for infrastructure tool/service designs within technical domains in accordance with architectural governance, standards and policies. Key responsibilities include facilitating deployment of tools/services by leading others in solution development, maintenance of templates, playbooks and automation used during implementation. Job expectations include demonstrating expertise within technical domains, decomposing issues or objectives into work units, advancing efficient solution delivery practices, and promoting exceptional design, engineering and organizational practices.

Responsibilities:

Confirms that application and business requirements have been translated into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and playbooks to guide development and integration of technology solutions

Contributes to the creation/selection of functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements within and across domains

Reviews and may develop software solutions to address manual and repeatable work or inefficient processes

Reviews and guides the evaluation of reference models, blueprints, playbooks and the execution of on-site evaluations of third-party products being considered for firm adoption

Mentors and assists Infrastructure resources on infrastructure service along with application integration validation methods and tools to ensure that technology solutions comply with enterprise system design and engineering standards

Promotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers

Senior level engineer able to provide technical leadership and delivery strategy for Application Delivery Services to align business requirements to technical solutions to improve availability, functionality, and security.

Working with lines of business to translate/align business requirements for delivery of the ADS services.

Ability to analyze and understand a variety of existing and emerging business requirements, interface with technology engagement teams as a fully seasoned and proficient traffic management solutions engineer, in providing best in class application load balancing solutions that align to meet business and technology requirements.

This highly dynamic position will require the ability to manage multiple technical project engagements requiring the candidate to be a team player who can also work independently in managing to multiple deadlines, priorities and diverse set of applications and requirements.

Candidate will be a strong engineering minded individual with polished collaboration, written, and communication skills and a proven track record interacting with various levels of management, clients, and technical team members in delivering technical traffic management solutions.

Skills and Requirements

Must Have:

7 10 years of leadership experience as a technical lead

7 - 10 years for Infrastructure engineering hands on experience with F5 Networks products (LTM/GTM/ASM/AFM/SSLO)

5+ years experience developing, optimizing, integration/testing, troubleshooting F5 complex rules.

3 - 5 years of experience with VMWare/Avi Networks experience

5 7 years of Programming skills and working in conjunction with products and services such as DNS, Load Balancing,

5 -7 years of experience with F5 DNS Express

Inventory Management

Experience with other equivalent Application Delivery Controller such as Avi Networks, Citrix, etc.

Strong understanding of general network technologies (e.g., TCP/IP networking, SSL, Firewall, Proxy, Load Balancing)

Deep knowledge of diverse networking devices like Routing, Switching, Firewalls, WAF

F5 TMSH Experience and Knowledge

Experience with routing solutions such as BGP setup for Anycast based Infrastructure Services

Other Skills/Knowledge

Linux OS Experience

VMWare, Azure, Terraform/Cloud formation experience.

Understanding of Cloud services and SDN

Deep understanding of diverse set of networked applications and terms requiring application traffic management solutions, including HTTP, HTTPS, SSH, FTP, DNS, NTP, ANYCAST services, NAT, WAF, Firewalls, Routing, Switching, etc.

F5 ASM and APM Experience

Programming with Python Experience

Soft Skills:

Excellent problem solving & troubleshooting skills.

Ability to participate in project scoping, estimating, delivery and other work.

Proven ability to matrix-manage direct and cross-functional teams.

Excellent Verbal Skills

Ability to communicate effectively with people who have varying degrees of technical expertise.

Experience running projects, tracking task, and timelines.

Ability to produce quality documentation (understand difference between standard, best practice, design & process documents.

Results-oriented resource who can develop and manage relationships across the organization based on trust, teamwork, and knowledge.

Proven ability to resolve project issues and mitigate project risk by negotiating solutions that meet expected results.

Familiar with Scrum & Agile methodology Bluecat Product Experience

VMWare Horizon Virtual Desktop Support

Service oriented design and development using SOAP/Rest web service architectures.

Experience with Continuous Integration and Delivery practices and automation tools Ansible, Puppet

Development/Programming experience with tools such as Java EE, Unix Shell Scripting, ANT, Python, .Net, JavaScript, React

Experience managing across the ITIL Service Lifecycle Framework with specific knowledge of the Service Design Coordination, Transition Planning & Support and Release & Deployment Management processes.

Familiar with Project Management framework

Strong business, financial, and infrastructure technology acumen

Development/Programming experience with tools such as Java EE, Unix Shell Scripting, ANT, Python, .Net, JavaScript, React null
