Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Service Manager for one of its manufacturing clients located in West Valley, UT. The Service Manager will be part of the rental division responsible for supervising all truck mechanics and technicians, as well as managing shop operations. They will oversee the turnaround of fleet assets between rentals and service work on customer-owned trucks. Additionally, they will maintain inventory levels, document and ensure the accuracy of repairs, and uphold a safe work environment. This position is onsite in West Valley, UT, with occasional travel to handle field service and repair calls

Skills and Requirements

3+ years of management experience (this role is a hands-on leadership role)

5+ years of industrial mechanic, heavy equipment, & heavy truck experience

Diagnosing/troubleshooting heavy equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic)

Proficiency with diagnostic software (Cummins Insite preferred)

Experience big rigs electrical systems (freightliners or other heavy-duty trucks)

Strong computer skills (Excel, Outlook, programming software) Cummins Insite diagnostic software

PACCAR diagnostic software null
