We are seeking an **Environmental Scientist (EIR Environmental Scientist I)** to join our Raleigh, NC team! Come join us!

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

+ Performance of site investigations to support environmental projects, including the collection of samples and environmental data

+ Conduct and document field activities such as soil, soil vapor and groundwater sampling, installation of soil borings and monitoring wells, and tank excavations and/or removals

+ Management and analysis of sampling data, including summary tables, result interpretation, and sample location maps

+ Assisting clients with a variety of environmental, health, and safety needs, including environmental regulatory compliance, environmental permitting, industrial hygiene, and health and safety matters

+ Preparing technical reports including but not limited to proposals, work plans, environmental reports, permit applications, and health & safety plans

+ Organizing and prioritize a diverse workload; maintain accurate records

Minimum requirements:

+ BS in Geology, Engineering, Environmental Science or related field.

+ 0-2 years of related environmental consulting experience, NC-specific experience preferred

+ Ability to work effectively on multiple assignments, prioritizing and delegating activities, and delivering on tight deadlines

+ Capable of working independently, under direct supervision of others, and in a team-orientated environment

+ Valid driver’s license and excellent driving record

+ Commitment to safety

Technical requirements:

+ Microsoft PC applications; WORD, EXCEL, PowerPoint

+ Strong technical, analytical, and research skills

+ Excellent written and oral communication skills

+ Preferred 40-Hour Hazwoper

Other miscellaneous qualities:

+ Ability for overnight travel (typically in-state) as needed (average 20-30%)

+ Ability to perform moderately strenuous tasks
