About The Role
As a CBRE Digital and Technology Senior Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of technical programs. You will be the critical bridge between engineering, data, analytics, UX/Design, and product teams to ensure technical requirements are met and the intended business value of the program is achieved.
What you'll do
Strategic Planning
+ Develop and implement technology strategies: Create comprehensive technology roadmaps that align with the organization's overall business strategy and objectives.
+ Assess emerging technologies: Stay abreast of industry trends and evaluate their potential impact on the organization to recommend appropriate investments.
Team Leadership
+ Lead cross-functional teams: Direct teams of IT professionals, engineers, and other stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
+ Mentor and develop staff: Provide guidance, training, and career development opportunities for team members to enhance their skills and performance.
+ Project Management
+ Oversee technology project lifecycle: Manage projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they meet scope, timeline, and budget requirements.
+ Utilize project management methodologies: Employ Agile, Scrum, or other relevant frameworks to enhance project delivery and efficiency.
Stakeholder Engagement
+ Collaborate with business leaders: Work closely with executives and department heads to identify technology needs and opportunities for improvement.
+ Communicate technology initiatives: Clearly articulate technology goals, progress, and outcomes to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Budget Management
+ Develop and manage budgets: Create annual budgets for technology initiatives, tracking expenditures and ensuring alignment with financial goals.
+ Optimize resource allocation: Identify areas for cost savings and efficiency improvements while maintaining quality and service levels.
Risk Management
+ Identify and assess risks: Evaluate potential risks associated with technology projects and operations, including cybersecurity threats and compliance issues.
+ Implement mitigation strategies: Develop and enforce policies and procedures to minimize risks and ensure business continuity.
Performance Monitoring
+ Establish performance metrics: Define KPIs and benchmarks to measure the success of technology initiatives and team performance.
+ Analyze and report on outcomes: Regularly review performance data and provide reports to senior leadership, making recommendations for improvements as necessary.
Change Management
+ Lead change initiatives: Facilitate the adoption of new technologies and processes within the organization, managing resistance and promoting a culture of innovation.
+ Develop training programs: Create and implement training sessions and resources to ensure employees are equipped to use new technologies effectively.
What You'll Need:

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
+ Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in technology management, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
+ Technical Skills: Proficiency in modern web development and database technologies (Angular,GoLang,C#,Java, PostgreSQL,SnowFlake), IT service management, and project management tools.
+ Strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
+ Additional Requirements:
+ Requires in-depth knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to calculate complex figures. Ability to forecast and prepare budgets. Conducts financial/business analysis including the preparation of reports.
+ Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Requires expert level analytical and quantitative skills with proven experience in developing strategic solutions for a growing matrix-based multi-industry sales environment. Draws upon the analysis of others and makes recommendations that have a direct impact on the company.
