About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a **Senior Merchant Services Sales Consultant** for the Wells Fargo Merchant Services Relationship Banking Sales Team of Consumer Lending. You will build relationships with Relationship bankers/managers and create value and your own brand to be able to influence and acquire new business. You will work with and partner to help with complex new merchant accounts that you acquired through influence and reputation to excellence and delivery. This role is a sales role that is mostly built on influence and building relationships. This role will be successful for a person that has premium customer service and delivers.

In this role, you will:
+ Partner with relationship bankers and relationship managers to maintain and grow relationships with customers by understanding their business, objectives, strategies, and challenges
+ Review basic issues, policies, or procedures related to Merchant Services Sales functional area
+ Provide software solutions, standalone terminals, Ecommerce solutions, and mobile solutions
+ Prospect new opportunities within Merchant Services Sales functional area
+ Independently resolve moderately complex issues
+ Collaborate and consult with Merchant Services Sales peers, colleagues, and middle level managers to resolve issues and achieve business objectives
+ Consult on complex customer specific payment solutions, including business needs assessments, analyzing merchants current payment processing, creating customized proposals, analyzing financial statements, and effectively managing relationships
Required Qualifications:
+ 4+ years of Merchant Services Sales experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with small and mid-sized Merchants
+ Acquisition experience in new merchant accounts
+ Strong negotiation and influence skills
+ Direct-sourcing and prospecting new client experience
+ Experience consistently delivering strong sales performance
+ Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) skills
+ Ability to navigate multiple computer systems, applications, and utilize search tools to find information
+ Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
+ Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
+ Strong presentation skills
+ Proficient on plan proposals
+ Strong sales product acumen
Job Expectations:
+ Must be able to Travel 15% of the time
+ Must be available to work hybrid schedule:Mondays & Fridays remote - Tuesday-Thursday in office
