About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer in the Consumer Technology – Enterprise Data Platform -Core Banking Deposits which supports evolving digital platforms, responsive, scalable database and ETL solutions, and the continued generation of automated processes to enhance our technology pipeline to create data driven customer-facing capabilities.
In this role, you will:
+ Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
+ Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
+ Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
+ Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
+ Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
+ Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
+ Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
Required Qualifications:
+ 5+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
+ 5+ years of design, prototyping and delivery of software solutions within the ETL platform using Ab Initio and Big data ETL solutions.
+ 4 years of Review and Signoff the Test Coverage and Requirements Traceability Matrix.
+ 5 years of hands on Business Intelligence as a developer who can implement ETL solutions for financial clients in different industries dealing with various types of challenging data.
+ 5 years with hands on SQL database programming, SQL performance tuning, relational model analysis.
+ 4 years of hands on experience with Abinitio features like Workload management, Workflow management, Continuous Flows, EME and Express>IT
+ 4 years of hands on developer experience in developing UNIX scripts, Oracle SQL/PL-SQL.
+ 4 years of leading and designing scalable Financial Data warehousing
+ 5+ years of experience in development of advanced analytics solutions and integrating new tools to improve server capacity, SLAs, process automation
+ 5+ years of experience in Translating business concepts to technical implementations to drive alignment and decision making
+ 4+ years experience leading, training, provide oversight and technical guidance for developers on Ab Initio.
+ 3+ years of Working knowledge of relational data structures / models / relationships

+ Ability to multi-task and work under stringent timelines within a strong, high energy team environment.
+ Ability to work in Agile environment
+ Must have the ability to relate to both business and technical members of the team and possess excellent communication skills.
+ Candidates must have outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills and a good grasp of the technical side of business intelligence.
+ Responsible for performance tuning and scalability improvements of distributed applications
+ Researching and evaluation of new tools and technologies to solve business problems
+ Works on geographically dispersed team embracing Agile strategies for themselves and others while driving adoption to enable greater technology and business value

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
