About the role
The purpose of this position is to lead the Warehouse Operations: shipping/receiving, storing, and issuing materials, equipment and/or other items from stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard. Responsible for the safe receipt, storage, retrieval and timely dispatch of goods. Provides formal supervision to individual employees within single functional or operational area.
What you’ll do
Maintains receiving, warehousing, and/or distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and/or personnel policies and procedures.
Acts as liaison with business leaders, department managers and other internal and external clients to forecast workload demand, project deliverables and resolve any conflicting priorities.
Manages, plans, coordinates, inbound/outbound receiving schedules and oversees the workload, deadlines and day-to-day activities of the warehouse team to ensure effective delivery of services.
Determines proper storage methods, identification, and stock location based on turnover, environmental factors, and physical capabilities of facilities.
Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system.
Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
May maintain records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
May perform other duties as assigned or requested by management.

What you’ll need
High School diploma or GED (General Education Degree) equivalent required.
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years related work experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving.
Previous Supervisory related work experience in warehouse, shipping and receiving.
Certified forklift operating license required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Ability to respond effectively to sensitive issues.
Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
Physical ability to assist with warehouse operations. Able to lift 50 lbs.

The minimum salary for the Electrician position is $91 , 000 annually and the maximum salary for the position is $139 , 000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience.
