    Key job responsibilities

    This leadership role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the data journey for Amazon's Gen AI capabilities while building and leading high-performing teams in a rapidly evolving field. The position requires a leader who can navigate ambiguity, drive innovation, and build sustainable organizations while maintaining operational excellence for large scale data operations.

    In this role, you will drive innovation in large-scale data collection and annotation, collaborating with world-class scientists and engineers across Amazon's global teams.     Basic Qualifications

    - 10+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience

     

    - 7+ years of team management experience

     

    - Complex stakeholder management requirements across Science, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Compliance and 3P vendors.

     

    - Need for organizational influence without direct authority

     

    - Responsible for long-term technical vision

     

    - Ability to drive cross-organizational initiatives

     

    - Strong problem-solving capabilities

     

    - Understanding of emerging technologies

     

    - Experience with modern development practices

     

    - Demonstrated experience in transformation programs

     

    - Deep understanding of AI lifecycle and tools

    Preferred Qualifications

    - Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization

    Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
