CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER
The Edinburg Center is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide financial strategy and ensure fiscal health while supporting program growth. This role oversees a team of 18 and leads all aspects of finance, accounting, budgeting, contracts, Information Technology, and facilities management. Reporting to the CEO and collaborating closely with senior leadership, the CFO will be a key partner in shaping the future of the organization. The ideal candidate will have strong financial and accounting knowledge, experience working in the human services sector, and be great at building and managing teams.
Position Summary:
The Edinburg Center’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) reports to the President and CEO and works closely with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to align financial strategy with the organization’s mission and goals. The CFO oversees a team of 18 and manages all aspects of accounting, finance, budgeting, contracts, facilities, and information systems. The CFO collaborates on financial planning, supports program leadership, and maintains professional relationships with funding agencies and vendors.

Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field required; CPA or MBA preferred; at least 5 years in a relevant senior leadership role.
+ Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance with a proven ability to manage a complex organization’s accounting, finance, and administrative functions.
+ Experience with budgeting, forecasting, financial analysis, and reporting with a successful track record of setting priorities, thinking analytically, solving problems, and making sound decisions.
+ Strong understanding of nonprofit financial management, including government contracts, grants, and third-party billing. Working knowledge of DDS/EOHHS contract processes and billing procedures preferred.
+ Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams. Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
+ Technology savvy, with experience overseeing technology staff; an understanding of the impact of technology and automation on performance and efficiency; and a track record of leveraging technology to create efficiency.
+ Consummate team player who works in service to other departments to support and advance our mission, proactively contributing to our culture built on integrity, inclusivity, and relationships.
