Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Financial Analyst** . This position will be located in **Roy, UT** and will support the **ICBM** program.

    What You’ll Get To Do:

    As a Financial Analyst - Level 2, you'll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. You will perform economic research and study subjects such as rates of return, depreciation, working capital, investments, and financial and expense comparisons by analysis of profit and loss statements and income statements. Prepare reports of findings and recommendations to management. Develop, maintain, and establish operational specifications for financial information systems considering such things as information flow, volume, and document format for data processing equipment. Provide analysis on business development monitor business performance by unit and division.

     

    The Financial Analyst (FA) will interface with the program managers, cost account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis to meet program requirements.

    This position’s standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off.

    You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

    + 2 Years experience with Bachelors; 0 years with Masters; or an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

    + At least 1 year experience leading a financial project and/or driving performance against schedule.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.

    + Relevant experience in Windows, MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint.

    + Experience preparing, analyzing, and presenting data and figures.

    + Must be willing to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance.

    These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

    + Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance.

    + 1 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience

    + 1 or more years of supply chain, material planning, or closely related experience

    + Positive individual who is willing to expand current skill set

    + Experience with Northrop Grumman Space Systems financial reporting tools (SAP, Cobra, COGNOS)

    + Experience with budget development, variance analysis, estimates to complete, cost performance reports, and cost schedule status reports in an integrated product team environment is preferred.

    + Strong interpersonal communication skills with ability to work with others at all levels of the organization

    + An active U.S. Government DoD Secret security clearance at time of application, current and within scope

     

    Salary Range: $63,800.00 - $95,800.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
