Description

We are seeking an experienced Controller to join a well-established manufacturing firm in Wichita, KS. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in manufacturing accounting, with a deep understanding of cost accounting, ERP systems (particularly Oracle), and a proven ability to lead and improve financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Oversee all accounting operations, including cost accounting, inventory, budgeting, and forecasting

+ Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and compliance with GAAP

+ Analyze and improve costing structures and operational efficiencies

+ Collaborate closely with operations and production teams to support strategic initiatives

+ Maintain and optimize Oracle-based financial systems

+ Prepare reports for executive leadership and support strategic planning

+ Lead and mentor a small accounting team

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA preferred)

+ 5–10 years of progressive accounting experience in a manufacturing environment

+ Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles and practices

+ Proficiency in Oracle ERP systems

+ Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills
