    Your future duties and responsibilities:

    We are seeking a proactive and personable Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical teams. This individual will be responsible for learning key business applications, gathering and documenting requirements, and ensuring that application enhancements align with stakeholder needs for our clients. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, able to lead discussions, guide stakeholders to decisions, and clearly present requirements and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences. You will interact regularly with client stakeholders and work to build a strong client partnership. This role requires someone who can:

     

    • Develop a deep understanding of assigned business applications and their role in organizational workflows.

    • Serve as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure clear, actionable communication.

    • Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for enhancements, fixes, and new functionality across applications.

    • Facilitate and lead discussions to drive stakeholder alignment and decision-making.

    • Present findings, requirements, and status updates to cross-functional teams and leadership.

    • Support change management activities, including assessments, communication, and training.

    • Work collaboratively with QA, development, and project management teams to support testing and implementation efforts.

    • Build strong relationships across departments to foster collaboration and trust.

    • Work with the business to understand, define, and quantify success criteria and KPIs as a part of each enhancement.

    • Identify process improvements and align solutions with long-term business strategy.

    • Support business case development by linking initiatives to measurable outcomes.

    • Contribute to Agile teams by managing user stories, backlog items, JIRA tickets.

    • Identify opportunities to apply automation for process efficiency.

    • Maintain centralized documentation of workflows, FAQs, and application details.

    Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or related field, or equivalent work experience.

    • 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work with a wide variety of stakeholders.

    • Proven experience documenting business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications.

    • Confident in leading meetings and facilitating discussions to drive clarity and consensus.

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and comfortable presenting to leadership.

     

    This position is located in Nashville, TN in a hybrid environment.

     

    CGI anticipates accepting applications for this position through JUNE 30, 2025.

    Other Information:

    CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $57,100.00 - $121,900.00.
