    Robert Half has an immediate need for an entry-level Accountant for our top client. In this role, you will enter data, review financial statements, and create and manipulate Excel spreadsheets.     Major responsibilities

    - Performing other related duties and participating in special projects as assigned

     

    - Assisting with audit fieldwork for both financial and operational audits

     

    - Reconciling and leveling general ledger accounts

     

    - Log data

     

    - Researching and rectifying account discrepancies

     

    - Helping with full cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes

     

    - Make monthly journal entries

     

    Requirements - Strong communication and interpersonal skills

     

    - AA degree or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred

     

    - Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (PivotTables, vlookups) is preferred

     

    - Willing to work as part of a team or independently and have the drive to take on a variety of tasks and projects

     

    - 1 year of accounting experience

     

    - Outstanding data entry skills

     

    - Excel Formulas experience desired

     

    - Accounts Receivable (AR) experience required

    - Strong attention to detail
