Description
Our client is looking for an Inside Sales Representative to join their team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this role, you will manage customer accounts, develop sales strategies, and provide exceptional service to drive business growth. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic sales environment and has a passion for building strong client relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Manage assigned customer accounts, fostering relationships to drive business growth and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with customers to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions for products and services.
• Handle inquiries, process orders, and respond to customer questions regarding product availability, pricing, and usage.
• Conduct cold calls and follow-ups with existing clients to expand sales within assigned territories.
• Prepare, present, and negotiate quotes and agreements, ensuring adherence to company guidelines.
• Monitor customer satisfaction and address concerns to enhance service quality and maintain long-term partnerships.
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to refine sales strategies.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales data using appropriate CRM systems.
• Promote company products and services by highlighting features and benefits based on technical knowledge.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to achieve territory-specific sales goals and improve client engagement.
Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a sales or customer service role, preferably in the steel manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in CRM software and other sales-related tools.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams.
• Ability to analyze customer needs and develop strategic sales plans.
• Familiarity with handling inbound calls and managing customer inquiries.
• Knowledge of steel structures, framing, and related products is highly desirable.
• Capacity to multitask and maintain accuracy when managing multiple accounts.
• Experience with data processing and generating actionable reports using tools like Crystal Reports.
