We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Treasurer or Sr. Treasury Accountant to join our client in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. This role encompasses a wide range of treasury and risk management responsibilities, including cash flow forecasting, debt management, and oversight of hedging programs. Reporting directly to the Treasurer, the ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial modeling, banking services, and strategic decision-making to enhance our treasury operations. This role has room for growth and looking for someone who wants to join a growing company!!

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain cash forecasting models, integrating financial statements and covenant compliance.

• Manage currency and commodities hedging strategies, including risk evaluation, transaction execution, and performance reporting.

• Support bank financing activities by reviewing, negotiating, and documenting credit agreements.

• Assist in managing a variety of insurance programs, such as General Liability, Property, and Worker’s Compensation.

• Oversee the issuance and acceptance of international letters of credit and bonds to support contractual obligations.

• Lead the implementation and testing of new treasury systems and technology solutions.

• Prepare comprehensive monthly treasury reports for management review.

• Collaborate on financial audits, including property and equipment appraisals.

• Drive initiatives to enhance banking services and integrate advanced technology into financial processes.

• Ensure treasury policies and procedures are consistently maintained and updated.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Finance or Accounting.

• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in treasury.

• Proven expertise in decision-making, problem-solving, and delivering results with a proactive mindset.

• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with the ability to guide treasury system implementations.

• Analytical skills to evaluate complex scenarios and make sound financial decisions.
