Description We are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Golden Valley, Minnesota. In this role, you will play a key part in managing billing processes, cash transactions, and account reconciliations to ensure smooth financial operations. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic team while leveraging your expertise in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Process and manage accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing and billing functions.

• Monitor and reconcile cash activity to ensure accurate financial records.

• Utilize accounting software systems to streamline workflows and maintain data integrity.

• Prepare detailed reports on receivable accounts and provide insights to management.

• Collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies and improve financial processes.

• Maintain accurate records of transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.

• Apply advanced Excel formulas to analyze financial data and create meaningful reports.

• Support month-end closing activities by ensuring all accounts are reconciled.

• Communicate with customers regarding outstanding balances and payment inquiries.

• Identify opportunities for process improvements in billing and receivable workflows. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or similar financial role.

• Proficiency in accounting software systems and familiarity with various billing functions.

• Strong knowledge of cash activity management and reconciliation processes.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including the use of formulas and data analysis.

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate financial records.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and internal teams.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
