Description

Our client is in need of an experienced Senior Financial Analyst in Brentwood, Tennessee. This position is ONLY for an Excel guru. We need someone who can do pivot tables, v- and x-lookups, indirect functions (keeping the spreadsheet dynamic). The client needs rollforward schedules as well.

Responsibilities:

• Run monthly financial reports and ensure their accuracy and relevance for business needs.

• Conduct ad-hoc analyses to support decision-making and strategic initiatives.

• Collaborate on reporting efforts related to recent acquisitions and organizational growth.

• Utilize advanced Excel functions, including Index/Match, XLOOKUP, and Indirect Formulas, to streamline data analysis.

• Leverage tools like Power Query (helpful but not mandatory) to enhance reporting capabilities whenever possible.

• Partner with stakeholders to ensure alignment on financial strategies and objectives.

• Support the FP& A department in maintaining and improving reporting processes.

• Analyze financial data to uncover insights and trends that drive business performance.

• Assist with capital management and budgeting processes to optimize resource allocation.

Requirements

• Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including complex formulas and functions.

• Familiarity with Power Query or similar tools is highly desirable.

• Ability to perform data mining and analysis to support business decisions.

• Knowledge of accounting functions and auditing processes.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Effective communication skills and ability to work independently.
