Description

We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Manager to oversee and optimize warehouse operations in Louisville, Kentucky. This Contract-to-Permanent position requires a proactive leader who can ensure seamless day-to-day activities while maintaining high standards of productivity and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse management and a commitment to fostering a safe and efficient work environment. The hours for the Warehouse Manager are onsite, Monday-Friday: 730 AM-430 PM.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily warehouse operations, including inventory control, quality assurance, space management, logistics coordination, and customer service.

• Organize and manage the warehouse team, assigning tasks to maximize efficiency and minimize unnecessary overtime.

• Conduct regular inspections of tools, machinery, and equipment to ensure proper maintenance and functionality.

• Develop and implement workflows, staffing plans, and equipment layouts that align with productivity and quality objectives.

• Monitor inventory levels and oversee logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers and company facilities.

• Train team members to address operational challenges and achieve both short-term and long-term performance goals.

• Establish and enforce workplace safety standards while ensuring compliance with all legal regulations.

• Analyze team productivity and collaborate with warehouse leads to create actionable plans for continuous improvement.

• Coordinate with drivers and logistics partners to ensure smooth transportation and delivery processes.

Requirements • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for managing operations and reporting.

• Demonstrated experience in warehouse management and distribution processes.

• Knowledge of warehouse equipment and inventory control practices.

• Strong organizational and leadership skills to effectively oversee warehouse staff.

• Familiarity with logistics and shipping methods to optimize delivery operations.

• Ability to maintain a safe and regulated warehouse environment.

• Excellent problem-solving skills for addressing operational challenges.
