Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Medical Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Mendota Heights, Minnesota. In this long-term contract position, you will play a vital role in managing billing and claims processes to ensure accurate financial operations within the healthcare industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts receivable tasks, including billing, claims processing, and follow-up on unpaid invoices.

• Manage claim denials by identifying issues and implementing corrective actions to resolve discrepancies.

• Ensure accurate cash handling and reconciliation of payments within accounting systems.

• Utilize accounting software systems and ERP tools to track and report financial data.

• Process medical claims efficiently while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Collaborate with internal teams to improve workflows and enhance financial accuracy.

• Monitor cash activity and prepare detailed reports for management review.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CRM and financial services tools to optimize account management.

• Identify and address issues affecting billing functions to streamline operations.

• Provide support in implementing system updates and enhancements to improve efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable, billing, and medical claims processing.

• Proficiency in using accounting software systems and ERP platforms.

• Familiarity with Epic Software and CRM tools.

• Strong understanding of claims processing and handling claim denials within the healthcare sector.

• Knowledge of cash handling and reconciliation procedures.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
