Description We are looking for an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team in Brooklyn, New York. This role will be pivotal in managing the financial operations and ensuring accurate reporting for a newly acquired entity. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, financial analysis, and system implementation, with a keen eye for detail and process optimization.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

• Conduct sales revenue audits and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.

• Manage and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring proper balance sheet alignment.

• Lead the implementation of new accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency.

• Prepare and post journal entries across multiple entities, maintaining consistency and accuracy.

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to drive informed decision-making.

• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends and support strategic planning.

• Maintain inventory control processes and track asset movements with precision.

• Assist with month-end closings and prepare comprehensive financial statements. Requirements • Proven experience with accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Strong knowledge of financial statement preparation and general ledger reconciliation.

• Demonstrated expertise in implementing and optimizing accounting systems.

• Experience in inventory accounting and maintaining accurate asset records.

• Proficiency in conducting financial audits and ensuring compliance.

• Skilled in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

• Ability to perform detailed data analysis to support business objectives.

• Excellent organizational and communication skills to manage multiple financial tasks.
