    Starting Salary: $38,000 - $55,000

     

    Are you an organized, detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a passion for helping businesses thrive? Our small CPA firm client is seeking a full-time, direct hire, accountant to assist them in managing accounting services for their clients.

     

    You will play a crucial role in helping our clients maintain accurate financial records, stay compliant, and make informed business decisions. You’ll handle a variety of accounting tasks in a supportive and professional environment where your contributions will truly make an impact.

    Responsibilities:

    + Perform bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients, including managing accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.

    + Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements to ensure accurate records.

    + Handle client financial transactions, such as tracking income and expenses in accounting software

    + Prepare monthly financial reports

    + Assist clients with maintaining organized financial documentation and records.

    + Work closely with our CPAs to ensure client compliance with tax regulations and deadlines.

    + Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide exceptional customer service.

    + Identify and escalate issues that may affect financial accuracy or compliance.

    Requirements

    Qualifications:

    + High school diploma or equivalent (no formal degree required).

    + Proven experience in bookkeeping or accounting-related roles; familiarity with small business bookkeeping is a plus.

    + Strong knowledge of fundamental bookkeeping principles and practices.

    + Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks for various clients simultaneously.

    + Effective communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.

    + Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality with sensitive client information.
