Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in San Luis Obispo, California. In this role, you will be responsible for managing vendor invoices, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting office operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of financial processes.

Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and adjustments while ensuring accurate department coding.

• Audit internal reports to identify and correct errors, ensuring data integrity.

• Maintain and update vendor records, including W-9 forms and liability insurance certificates.

• Oversee the management of company-issued credit cards and related expense tracking.

• Handle accounts payable filings, including use tax and 1099 processing.

• Monitor office supply levels, place orders, and manage inventory as needed.

• Distribute incoming mail and prepare outgoing shipments efficiently.

• Track reproduction activity and ensure accurate uploads to financial systems.

• Coordinate business license renewals and maintain compliance with filing deadlines.

• Assist with general office operations, including managing storage and copier services. Requirements • Minimum of three years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with a strong aptitude for data entry.

• Familiarity with accounts payable modernization tools and financial software systems.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to meet deadlines effectively.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.

• Effective written and verbal communication skills to interact with vendors and team members.
