Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our team in Burbank, California. In this role, you will oversee essential accounting operations, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support audit and tax compliance. This position requires a proactive individual with strong expertise in QuickBooks, inventory accounting, and financial close processes, preferably with experience in the e-commerce or retail sectors.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting operations, including sales reconciliation across eCommerce, retail, and wholesale channels.

• Prepare and record payroll transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

• Conduct detailed reviews of bank and credit card reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.

• Oversee the preparation and submission of sales tax returns using Avalara.

• Record inventory adjustments and ensure accurate cost and margin tracking.

• Lead month-end close processes, including journal entries, accruals, and adjustments.

• Generate financial reports such as balance sheets, P& L statements, and cash flow analyses for review by senior leadership.

• Support external audits by organizing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

• Implement and enhance accounting policies and internal controls to streamline operations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize financial processes related to inventory and expense management. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, ideally within eCommerce, retail, or wholesale industries.

• Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong understanding of account reconciliations, accrual accounting, and month-end close procedures.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

• Preferred qualifications include CPA certification or progress toward CPA, along with prior audit experience.
