Description

Exciting opportunity for a junior litigation attorney to join a collaborative team. The attorney will be mentored by partners and will make immediate and meaningful contributions on complex cases. This is an opportunity to work with the team in Danville, Illinois. This role offers an opportunity to manage complex legal cases, advocate for clients, and ensure their rights are protected.

Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in personal injury cases, ensuring their interests are effectively advocated.

• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategies and arguments.

• Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and settlement agreements.

• Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients.

• Prepare for and participate in court proceedings, including trials and hearings.

• Collaborate with colleagues and legal assistants to manage caseload efficiently.

• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients regarding their rights and options.

• Maintain accurate and detailed case records and documentation.

• Stay updated on changes in personal injury law and related regulations.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

• Active license to practice law in the state of Illinois.

• Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

• Attention to detail and ability to work independently
