    Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Our company operates within the construction industry, and this role will be instrumental in managing our accounts and ensuring our financial operations run smoothly.

    Responsibilities:

    • Processing and managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

    • Handling Purchase Orders with a high level of accuracy

    • Coding invoices properly to ensure accurate record keeping

    • Managing the switchboard, handling 1-10 lines, and addressing customer inquiries effectively

    • Participating in various financial operations pertinent to the construction industry. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary.

    • Experience in handling Purchase Orders is required.

    • Ability to accurately code invoices is essential.

    • Familiarity with operating switchboards, specifically those with 1-10 lines, is desirable.

    • Previous experience in the construction industry is a plus.

    • Strong numeracy and organizational skills are required.

    • The candidate should have good communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is important.

    • The applicant must be detail-oriented and able to work with minimal supervision.

    • Prior experience in an accounting role is preferred.
