Description

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team in Burbank, California or Orlando, FL. This long-term contract position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge identity and access management platforms that support a global workforce. You will play a key role in optimizing enterprise technology systems to enhance security, improve user experiences, and drive operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-level identity and access management solutions, focusing on scalability and security.

• Manage and administer Okta platforms, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance within the organization.

• Lead the migration of applications and systems from legacy platforms to Okta and other modern identity solutions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement and maintain large-scale identity solutions tailored to business needs.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to identity platforms, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.

• Automate processes to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention across the enterprise.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies and best practices in identity and access management to recommend improvements.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers at the entry level, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.

• Develop and implement security protocols to protect sensitive data and maintain compliance with organizational standards.

• Document processes, configurations, and workflows to ensure knowledge sharing and operational consistency.

Requirements • At least 5 years of experience in enterprise IT, focusing on identity and access management, platform engineering, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing Okta in medium-to-large organizations.

• Proven expertise in implementing and maintaining large-scale identity solutions, including integration with various enterprise systems.

• Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python or JavaScript.

• Strong understanding of Active Directory, REST APIs, and Microsoft Azure environments.

• Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies and collaborative development practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
