Description We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. This part-time position, working Thursdays and Fridays, focuses on supporting a residential construction company with its financial operations. As this is a Contract role, it offers potential for long-term growth and stability.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate financial records.

• Reconcile bank accounts and ensure all transactions are properly recorded.

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.

• Prepare and process payroll accurately and on schedule.

• Perform month-end close activities, including reviewing and adjusting journal entries.

• Utilize QuickBooks to organize and track company financial data.

• Handle account reconciliations to ensure all financial data aligns with company standards.

• Conduct data entry tasks with precision to maintain up-to-date records.

• Generate financial reports and provide insights to support decision-making.

• Collaborate with team members to streamline financial procedures. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction industry.

• Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

• Strong knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes.

• Experience with bank reconciliations and month-end close procedures.

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping.

• Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.

• Solid organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.

• Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
