Description We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Loan Servicing Support Specialist in Meriden, Connecticut. This Contract-to-Permanent position is an excellent opportunity to leverage your expertise in loan servicing and mortgage processes while contributing to the success of a dynamic organization. The ideal candidate will bring a strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive support for loan servicing activities, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
• Research and resolve discrepancies, outliers, and issues, maintaining accuracy in all loan-related data.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan processing and servicing.
• Leverage your knowledge of local, state, and federal laws to support mortgage lending and loan servicing operations.
• Utilize creative problem-solving skills to address challenges and streamline processes.
• Perform data entry tasks with a high level of precision and attention to detail.
• Prepare and present reports using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint to communicate findings and updates effectively.
• Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues through effective verbal and written communication.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree, associate degree, or certification program in paralegal studies, or equivalent job experience required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience, with mortgage industry experience preferred.
• Solid understanding of mortgage lending and loan servicing processes.
• Proficiency in local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to loan servicing.
• Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint, along with familiarity with other Office applications.
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify and resolve issues.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for interacting with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities in a dynamic environment.
