Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Middleburg Heights, Ohio. In this role, you will play a crucial part in managing financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of accounts payable processes. This position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work efficiently in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review 50-200 invoices weekly, including utility and monthly contract billings, with accuracy and timeliness.

• Communicate effectively with project managers to address and resolve discrepancies or issues.

• Perform accurate data entry and coding of invoices to ensure proper allocation of expenses.

• Reconcile accounts payable records to maintain up-to-date and error-free financial data.

• Assist in job costing and project costing processes to support accurate financial reporting.

• Utilize Microsoft Excel to organize, analyze, and report on financial data as needed.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while handling accounts payable tasks.

• Manage fluctuations in workload, particularly during busy seasons, with a high level of efficiency. Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable or a related field.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to handle high volumes of invoices.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software systems.

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities to collaborate with team members and project managers.

• Experience in job costing or project costing, preferably within manufacturing or construction industries.

• Ability to work independently and take initiative in managing responsibilities.

• Familiarity with coding invoices and account reconciliation processes.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt to seasonal workload variations.
