Description

A multi-office business and litigation law firm is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Asbestos Litigation Group in the Pittsburgh office.

Requirements

+ Manage the lifecycle of several hundred active matters primarily in Pennsylvania, with some support for West Virginia cases

+ Organize new file folders and trial binders

+ Track case activity, update trial lists, and calendar filing deadlines

+ Draft and prepare legal documents, including:

+ Motions for Summary Judgment

+ Discovery Requests

+ Motions in Limine

+ Deposition Designations

+ Interrogatory Summaries and Fact Sheets

+ Prepare and submit monthly/quarterly client reports

+ Enter billable time into Prolaw

+ Handle electronic filings in Allegheny County, Philadelphia County, and West Virginia

Qualifications:

+ Minimum 5 years of experience in complex litigation support

+ Paralegal Certificate preferred

+ Proficiency with State and Federal court procedures, including CM/ECF filing

+ Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with iManage and Prolaw is a plus
