Description We are looking for an experienced Medical Malpractice Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will provide vital support to senior trial attorneys, ensuring seamless case preparation and management. Responsibilities:

• Assist senior trial attorneys with case preparation, including drafting legal documents, pleadings, and correspondence.

• Conduct thorough research and analysis related to medical malpractice claims.

• Utilize case management software to organize and maintain legal files and documentation.

• Manage billing functions and ensure accurate tracking of case-related expenses.

• Prepare and file legal documents using systems such as Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS).

• Coordinate calendar management for court dates, appointments, and deadlines.

• Facilitate claim administration processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Collaborate with internal teams to support the briefing process and trial preparations.

• Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other parties involved in legal cases.

• Monitor deadlines using tools like CompuLaw and ensure timely submission of required documents. Requirements

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience as a paralegal, with expertise in medical malpractice.

• Familiarity with Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS) and case management software.

• Strong skills in calendar management and tracking deadlines using tools such as CompuLaw.

• Experience with claim administration and billing processes.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

• Knowledge of courtroom procedures and trial preparation processes.
