Description
Our client a recognized boutique law firm is seeking a Medical Malpractice Associate Attorney to join the team in Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with experienced partners on complex medical malpractice defense cases, managing litigation from start to finish. The ideal candidate will bring strong legal expertise, exceptional communication skills, and a proactive approach to handling cases.

Responsibilities:
• Manage all phases of medical malpractice litigation, including case assessment, discovery, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review pleadings, motions, and discovery documents with precision and attention to detail.
• Conduct and defend depositions to gather key evidence and support case strategy.
• Collaborate with and retain expert witnesses to strengthen case arguments.
• Research, draft, and argue pre-trial motions to advocate effectively for clients.
• Provide strategic support during trials, including preparation of exhibits and witness questioning.
• Communicate regularly with clients and partners to ensure alignment on case objectives and progress.
• Maintain compliance with all legal and ethical standards while representing clients.
Requirements
• A minimum of three - five years of experience in medical malpractice defense.
• Proficiency in handling all stages of litigation, from initial case assessment through trial.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with attention to clarity and persuasiveness.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Admission to practice law in both Pennsylvania and preferably New Jersey.
• Expertise in medical malpractice and complex litigation.
• Familiarity with working alongside expert witnesses and preparing for trial.
