Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Wilson, North Carolina. In this role, you will handle essential financial tasks related to invoice processing, payment management, and reconciliation to ensure smooth operations and compliance with company policies. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to an organized and efficient accounting department.

Responsibilities:

• Process, verify, and record invoices to ensure accurate and timely payments.

• Perform account reconciliations to maintain accuracy in financial records.

• Prepare and execute check runs in accordance with payment schedules.

• Assign appropriate codes to invoices to align with company accounting procedures.

• Conduct data entry tasks with precision to maintain integrity of financial information.

• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve discrepancies and inquiries.

• Monitor accounts payable reports to identify outstanding payments and follow up as needed.

• Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle to manage transactions.

• Assist in generating reports related to accounts payable activities for management review.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards in all financial processes. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.

• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, and Oracle.

• Strong knowledge of invoice processing, coding, and reconciliation.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.

• Ability to manage check runs and payment schedules efficiently.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Strong communication skills to liaise with vendors and internal teams.

• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
