Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Green Bay, Wisconsin. In this long-term contract role, you will play a critical part in managing and processing financial transactions accurately and efficiently. This position requires a hands-on approach to accounts payable tasks, including invoice entry, expense management, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately enter bills and invoices into NetSuite, ensuring all data is complete and correct.

• Process paper-based transactions for outside services and raw materials, working towards digitizing and integrating them into NetSuite.

• Manage landed costs and steel surcharges, verifying all associated documentation.

• Handle freight invoices, requiring collaboration with Customer Account Specialists, Shipping/Receiving teams, and other departments to confirm details.

• Process uniform-related invoices using Excel files, ensuring timely submissions for payroll deadlines.

• Enter and review employee expense reports for accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Participate in the bi-weekly check run process, which requires onsite presence.

• Assist with month-end accounts payable closures, ensuring all transactions are recorded and reconciled.

• Update invoice-related information in internal systems to maintain accurate financial records. Requirements

• Proficiency with accounting software systems, particularly NetSuite, and experience in accounts payable processes.

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems and accrual accounting principles.

• Excellent Excel skills for invoice processing and data management.

• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external vendors.

• Experience with auditing and ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.

• Knowledge of automated clearing house (ACH) processes and electronic payment systems.
