Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in accounting processes and systems, with a focus on Oracle iProcurement. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to organizational success while enhancing your skills.

Responsibilities:

• Process and review financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.

• Utilize Oracle iProcurement to manage purchasing and procurement tasks efficiently.

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making processes.

• Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline accounting workflows and maintain data integrity.

• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities to meet reporting deadlines.

• Monitor and manage accounts payable and receivable processes.

• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.

• Provide support for audits by preparing necessary documentation and reports. Requirements • Proven experience in an accounting or finance-related role.

• Proficiency in Oracle iProcurement is required.

• Strong understanding of general accounting principles and practices.

• Excellent analytical skills with a high level of attention to detail.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.

• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with various teams.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
