Description We are looking for an experienced Attorney with a strong background in commercial litigation to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This hybrid role is based in Denver, Colorado, and offers the opportunity to handle complex cases as a first-chair litigator. The ideal candidate will bring their expertise, professionalism, and dedication to managing a diverse caseload effectively.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the lead attorney for commercial litigation cases, managing all aspects of the cases from inception to resolution.

• Handle a caseload of 20-40 cases, ensuring thorough analysis and strategic planning for each matter.

• Prepare persuasive legal briefs, arguments, and other written materials with exceptional attention to detail.

• Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations to provide sound legal advice.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to ensure clear communication and effective case strategies.

• Utilize case management software and document management tools to organize and track case progress.

• Represent clients in court proceedings, negotiations, and mediations, demonstrating strong advocacy skills.

• Work on-site in a hybrid capacity, contributing to a collaborative team environment.

• Maintain compliance with Colorado Bar requirements, while openness to candidates barred in other states is welcomed.

• Provide expertise in handling complex commercial litigation and consumer-related claims. Requirements • Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial litigation, with a proven track record as a first-chair attorney.

• Active membership with the Colorado Bar, though candidates barred in other states will be considered.

• Proficiency in drafting persuasive legal documents, including briefs and arguments.

• Strong knowledge of case management and document management software tools.

• Familiarity with civil litigation practices, claim administration, and complaint handling.

• Demonstrated ability to manage a high caseload efficiently without compromising quality.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions and team collaboration.

• Willingness to work on-site in a hybrid capacity, with parking provided.
