Position Overview:
As an Administrative Assistant, you’ll play a pivotal role in the day-to-day operations of the company. You’ll be responsible for providing high-quality administrative support to ensure organizational efficiency and productivity. This is the perfect role for someone who is resourceful, detail-oriented, and eager to make an impact.
Key Responsibilities:
+ General Administration: Perform clerical duties such as managing schedules, organizing files, and preparing reports.
+ Communication Coordination: Answer phone calls, draft emails, and act as a liaison between team members, customers, and external stakeholders.
+ Document Management: Create PowerPoint presentations, spreadsheets, and Word documents as needed. Review documents for errors and ensure proper formatting.
+ Meeting Support: Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take meeting minutes, and coordinate follow-ups.
+ Office Organization: Maintain office supply inventory, assist with onboarding new employees, and ensure the workspace remains organized.
+ Ad Hoc Tasks: Collaborate with the team for special projects and adapt to evolving departmental needs.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
+ Experience: 2+ years of proven success in administrative assistant roles (experience in a professional services or nonprofit setting is a plus).
+ Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is mandatory; familiarity with project management tools is a bonus.
+ Attributes: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, and strong organizational abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Associate degree or higher in Business Administration, Communications, or related field.
+ Ability to handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
+ Experience coordinating calendars and appointments for executives or senior staff.
