    The Ultrasound Technologist performs ultrasonography exams and procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury. Performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.

    *Minimum Education*

    • Graduate from an Accredited Program in Diagnostic Sonography (will accept RDMS certification in lieu of education)

    *Minimum Work Experience*

    Preferred - 1 years of experience as a registered technologist in the appropriate modality

    *Required Skills*

    Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

    Certifications: X Basic Life Support (BLS) (Must be obtained within 14 days of hire)

    Must be RDMS or RDMS examination eligible. Must become RDMS within 12 months of hire (new graduates have 18 months to obtain).**
