**Shift:** Shift 1
**Work Schedule:** 8 Hr (8:30:00 AM - 5:00:00 PM)

**Pay Range:** $25.20 - $39.69 per hour

The pay range for each role reflects Rush’s anticipated wage or salary reasonably expected to be offered for the position. Offers may vary depending on the circumstances of each case.
Summary:
Provide support and administration for the Rush Medical College Curriculum and interface with external parties. This role identifies and resolves challenges and complex issues required for all elements of the curriculum and assessment program. Participation in training, hiring, and cross coverage of other coordinators is also required. The position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree and three-year experience in an Medical Education role or a Master’s degree with 1 year experience in a Medical Education or 7 years of work in Medical Education
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Access, and Excel) and Adobe Acrobat Professional with strong keyboard skills.
• Familiar with medical terminology.
• Excellent organizational abilities with attention to detail.
• Able to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines, set goals, manage multiple complicated tasks, and work with minimal or no supervision.
• Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; exemplifying a professional, courteous manner when communicating.
• Perform as a team player with a good sense of humor, enthusiasm, and patience.
• Act as a role model and a resource for other department administrative support staff.
• Take initiative and represent the college independently.
• Demonstrate professionalism in dealing with confidential information.
• Work with faculty and students in a collegial and collaborative manner.
• Anticipate problems before they arise and solve others as they occur.

Responsibilities:
• Develop solutions for emergent and long-term problems within the curriculum.
• Lead trainer for other coordinators within the college.
• Provide support for college committees.
• Develops plans for continuing education and training to meet the needs of the program and attends job-related training and in-service sessions.
• Collaborates with other RUMC entities, external to RMC to achieve curricular goals to implement new changes. (Institutional Research Board, Information Services)
• Assist with recruitment and hiring of new coordinators.
• Independently perform high stake tasks within the assessment/coordinator team
• Provide cross coverage for coordinator roles.
• Serves as a peer advisor to coordinators.
• Maintains standard operating procedures and process documents and records as needed.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
