Position Summary
The Senior Director of Payor Contracting is responsible for leading the negotiation, implementation, and management of payor agreements across Monte Nido’s national portfolio of residential, PHP, IOP, and virtual eating disorder treatment programs. This role plays a key part in advancing Monte Nido’s mission by securing competitive reimbursement, supporting access to care, and building collaborative relationships with commercial and government payors.
This is a full-time, remote position.

Responsibilities Include:
+ Lead contract negotiations with commercial and government payors for all levels of care, including value-based and innovative reimbursement models.
+ Analyze and model reimbursement proposals to assess financial impact, sustainability, and alignment with Monte Nido’s strategic objectives.
+ Partner with internal stakeholders—including Finance, Revenue Cycle, Clinical Operations, and Business Development—to align payor strategy with clinical capacity and market needs.
+ Develop and maintain a comprehensive contract management system, including key terms, rate escalators, performance obligations, and renewal timelines.
+ Monitor contract performance and collaborate with internal teams to resolve payor disputes, underpayments, and contract compliance issues.
+ Support market expansion initiatives through targeted payor engagement and contracting strategy.
+ Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and reimbursement changes impacting behavioral health and eating disorder treatment.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in Business, Health Administration, or related field preferred.
+ Minimum of 7 years’ experience in healthcare payor contracting, with a strong preference for behavioral health or mental health settings.
+ Proven track record negotiating complex payor agreements, including fee-for-service and value-based models.
+ Strong analytical, financial modeling, and contract management skills.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external stakeholders.
+ Self-directed, detail-oriented, and able to thrive in a remote work environment.
