We’re seeking aQuality Enhancement Managerto drive compliance, accountability, and ongoing improvement across our programs. This is more than a compliance role; it’s a chance to be a key force in protecting the rights, safety, and dignity of the people we support.

     

    •About the RoleReporting directly to the Chief Quality Enhancement Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring IAHD’s services are in alignment with OPWDD and NYS Justice Center regulations. You’ll lead investigations, monitor incident trends, and support a culture of learning and proactive risk mitigation.

     

    This role is ideal for someone who combines regulatory know-how with a mission-first mindset—and who thrives in collaborative, fast-paced environments.

     

    •What You’ll Do

    + Chair IAHD’s Incident Review Committee and lead the review process

    + Conduct and manage internal investigations in line with OPWDD and Justice Center standards

    + Support staff training on compliance, incident management, and QA protocols

    + Identify systemic issues and recommend improvement strategies

    + Prepare accurate and timely reports and data analyses for internal and external stakeholders

    + Ensure IAHD’s systems (IRMA/WSIR) are used effectively and remain audit-ready

    + Stay up to date with evolving regulations, ensuring IAHD remains a leader in quality assurance

    •What You Bring

    + Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or a related field

    + 3+ years of experience in quality assurance, compliance, or investigations in human services

    + Completion of OPWDD Investigator Training (or willingness to obtain)

    + Strong organizational, analytical, and written communication skills

    + Comfort with Microsoft Office, IRMA, and WSIR systems

    + A deep understanding of OPWDD, NYS Justice Center, and Department of Health regulatory frameworks

    + A proactive mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
