Production Supervisor
The Production Supervisor coordinates and controls production activities to achieve cost and quality targets and production schedules. Closely monitors day-to-day specific line production.
+ Ensure production goals are met.
+ Assign work to employees.
+ Supports new product development.
+ Understands monthly cost reports.
+ Maintain and improve 5S scores.
+ Ensure staff follows company's quality requirements. Complete NC's in a timely and accurate manner.
+ Implement training plans as driven by standard company plan or superior.
+ Conduct effective daily crew meetings.
+ Follow established company policy and flow down to staff. Support management initiatives.
+ Utilizes Exotic’s EDGE in teaching process disciplines to staff.
+ Ensure working environment is safe for employees.
+ Perform weekend OT coverage on a rotating schedule.
+ Perform administrative tasks effectively (i.e. timecards, PTO requests, purchase requisitions, etc.).
+ Create and foster open communication which encourages new ideas and innovation.
+ High level of emotional intelligence.
+ Work well with all levels of the organization.
+ Display sound judgment.
+ Understand importance of process discipline.
+ Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel).
Qualifications
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business or Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Materials Process Engineering
+ Requires solid understanding and experience with concepts associated with Kaizen and Lean principles.
+ Must have ability to assess the overall health of a department or value stream through the correlation of data and direct observation. Ability to identify and implement systemically effective improvement plans based on this analysis.
+ Must demonstrate a creative approach to problem solving. Must possess capability to see beyond current or historical practice to provide alternate solution.
+ Has knowledge of multiple leadership approaches and is able to identify and apply the appropriate approach to building individual and team success.
+ Proficient computer skills.
+ Must have ability to effectively work with people in a team environment and at various levels of the organization.
+ Must possess strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Physical Requirements
+ Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for 8 hours per day
+ Ability to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds

Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California, Massachusetts, New York, Washington. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations.
Competitive Compensation
+ Pay Range: $77,968.80-$141,713
